Dear Friend, join me, for some weighted carries..
I'd like to get a group of guys together weekly to practice some weighted carries together.  I think it would be a fun way to exercise and socialize together.

If you received this I was thinking, I'd like to hang out with that guy.   

What:  
"Short" Loaded carry practice and comradery.
When I do these weighted carries myself, if I don't stand around too much, I can get done in 30-45 minutes.  So with multiple people and a little chatting I'm guessing somewhere between 60-90 minutes.   

Video below is what we'll be doing

When:  Sunday, July 21st at 7:15 am.
Yes it is early.  But we'll beat the heat & you'll have the rest of the day left.

Where:  Crestwood Park 

Why:  
Weighted carries are a fun. 
They will make you a better human.


What you need:
  1. You'll need shoes (that you don't mind getting wet).  I use old cleats to get a little traction in the dew covered grass.
  2. Hand towel (you may sweat, or someone you are sharing a weight with may sweat).
  3. Water.
Optional:
  • Sun glasses
  • Chalk
  • Personal weights
    • Weight vest (I have a 40 and 60), if you need another, bring it
    • carrying weights (I have 50's and 100's), if you need another, bring it
    • Belt (I use a belt to attach the sled), if your waist is bigger or smaller than mine, you'll need to bring a belt or "lashing"

P.S. If you or someone else you know wants to get rid of a weight vest or heavy bag - I'm looking for one of each.  Preferably that weight 100 lbs each.
